Boston Speech Therapy is looking for a compassionate and skilled Part-Time or Full-Time Special Education Teacher to join our team! This position pays $65-75 per hour, and it’s at a middle school. In this role, you will provide specialized instruction to students with diverse learning needs, focusing on creating a supportive and engaging environment. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students Utilize effective teaching strategies to promote student engagement and learning Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress Coordinate with other educators and support staff to ensure a holistic approach to student development Adapt instructional methods based on individual student needs and assessments Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field; Master's degree preferred Valid state certification in Special Education Experience working with K-8 students, particularly in a special education setting Knowledge of various learning disabilities and tailored instructional strategies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment Commitment to the social and academic growth of all students Benefits 1099 position Part-time or Full-time $65-75 Per Hour Boston Speech Therapy is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to compliance with all federal, state, and local laws regarding equal employment opportunity.
