Competent Care is an accredited Early Intervention Program in New York City, staffed with New York State licensed and certified professionals. We are committed to providing the highest quality of care and services to families ensuring positive outcomes for their children. Key Responsibilities:

Assess children's educational and developmental needs.
Implement strategies and activities that foster learning and development.
Collaborate with families, caregivers, and a multidisciplinary team to ensure the integration of strategies.
Monitor and document children's progress, adapting strategies as necessary to meet their developmental milestones.
Manage scheduling and caseload based on personal availability and capacity.

Qualifications: ONE of the following certifications/licenses is required:

- Students with Disabilities' ( Birth-2) OR,
- Permanent Special education certificate OR,
- TSHH permanent certificate OR,
- TSLD Initial or Professional cert OR,
- NYS licensed Social Worker
Experience in early intervention or working with children with developmental delays preferred.
Experience with ABA and working with children with autism preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, adept at engaging with diverse families and teams.
Excellent organizational and independent working skills.
