YMCA OF GREATER CLEVELAND JOB DESCRIPTIONJob Grade: 9Hay Points: 128Leadership Level:Revision Date: 07/22Job Title: Bus DriverDepartment: Y-HavenFLSA Status: Non-ExemptStatus: PTReports to: Operations DirectorPOSITION SUMMARY:The Y-Haven Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transport of program participants.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:• The transport of Y-Haven residents to and from Y-Haven and off-site locations in asafe manner.• Clean buses daily.• Report any mechanical issues to supervisor.• Maintain daily travel log.QUALIFICATIONS:Education High School Diploma or GED.Certification(s) & Requirements:• CPR and First Aid certification and Safety training required within 30 days of hire.• Clean driving record• 4 hours in-service training every year• 21 years of age or olderTechnical Skills and Knowledge:• Demonstrate commitment to the mission, cause of the YMCA, and uphold its values and ethics.• Ability to work effectively work with people of different backgrounds, abilities, opinions andperceptionsPHYSICAL DEMANDS:Definition: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by anemployee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
