Job Description
The Specialist, Facilities ensures the smooth, safe, and efficient operation of the organization's physical environment. This role supports day‑to‑day facilities needs, coordinates maintenance and repairs, manages vendors, and provides responsive service to employees and leaders. It's a blend of operational execution, problem‑solving, and customer service-keeping the workplace functional, compliant, and welcoming.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to facilities tickets and service requests, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication.
- Coordinate and track preventive maintenance schedules for store locations.
- Create and maintain training modules for maintenance training and troubleshooting.
- Provide training to store leaders in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting issues.
- Track facilities budgets, invoices, and purchase orders.
- Maintain documentation for maintenance logs, vendor contracts, and compliance records.
- Prepare reports on facilities performance, service levels, and improvement initiatives.
- Assist with BQ maintenance and project management.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or Trade School
- 6+ years of experience in facilities and maintenance
- Skilled with Microsoft Office
- Proficient maintenance and mechanical skills
- Basic knowledge of D365
- Proficiency in SmartSheet, Gantt charts, or other project management software.
- Able to lift 75 pounds
- Able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment
- Knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures, and safety regulations
- Understanding of preventive maintenance principles and practices
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Facilities Management (CFM, FMP, SFP)
- Experience in capital projects within retail facilities
- Experience in store openings, remodels, and closures
- Knowledge of HVAC Operations and systems

Working Environment:
- Typical office environment with climate control and sufficient lighting, ergonomic desk/chairs
- Corporate Office located St. Louis, MO
- Travel potential up to 10%
- Lifting above 75 pounds
- Work in a non-climate-controlled environment at times
- Rotating on call
