About the role:

CHANEL is looking for a Specialist to join the Fragrance & Beauty Retail & Trade Marketing team in New York, NY. This role provides transversal operational and project support across multiple retail partners, helping ensure that marketing initiatives and in-store activations are executed seamlessly across the business.

Working closely with Brand Management, Artistic Direction, Procurement & Development, and Operations Excellence, this role plays a key part in coordinating the operational components of retail activations and supporting the processes that bring campaigns to life across our retail network.

The ideal candidate has 1-3 years of experience in marketing operations, retail marketing, project coordination, or a related field and is highly organized, detail-oriented, and energized by managing complex workflows while partnering across teams to deliver exceptional retail experiences.

What impact you can create at CHANEL:

  • Manage the kitting process including coordinating quantities with internal partners, submitting internal orders, and partnering with Operations Excellence team to ensure smooth execution

  • Partner with Operations Excellence and external vendors to coordinate installation timelines and ensure smooth execution of activations and visual updates across the network

  • Assist in briefing multi-retailer activations to creative and production teams, supporting the development of retail elements such as client stoppers and other in-store tools

  • Contribute to budget tracking and reconciliation for retail activations

  • Help strengthen processes, timelines, and operational rigor across the Retail & Trade Marketing team

What you will bring to the team:

  • 1-3 years of experience in marketing operations, retail marketing, project coordination, or a related field

  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously

  • Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through in managing logistics and operational processes

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams

  • Ability to manage operational complexity while maintaining visibility into timelines and deliverables

  • Proficiency in Excel and project management tools such as Smartsheet

Position Logistics:

  • Partially Remote: Role requires a minimum of three days in-person office presence at the NYC Office

  • 1-3 years of experience

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • New York, NY (3 days/week)

Compensation:

  • The anticipated base salary range for this position is $61,400 through $92,000. Base salary is one component of the total compensation for this position. Other forms of variable pay [may/will] be offered for this position. Other components [may/will] include bonus potential, benefits, and/or perks.
