Role Overview

The Product Marketing Specialist will serve as a strategic bridge between product strategy, marketing execution, and sales enablement, playing a pivotal role in driving commercial success for Fluence's B2B energy storage solutions. Sitting within Fluence's Corporate Marketing team, this position is responsible for developing and executing best-in-class go-to-market plans, championing product value, and ensuring cross-functional alignment to maintain Fluence's leadership in the market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies and launch plans for offerings within our portfolio, leveraging NPI methodologies and stakeholder feedback to optimize results. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with Product, Sales, Regional Marketing, and Customer Success teams to ensure alignment and seamless execution.

  • Messaging & Positioning: Develop compelling, differentiated product messaging and positioning tailored to diverse customer segments, grounded in robust market and customer insights. Test and iterate messaging through customer validation and competitive benchmarking.

  • Sales Enablement: Equip global sales teams with high-impact collateral, training, and tools mapped to the buyer's journey, including competitive battlecards and objection-handling guides. Continuously update enablement resources based on feedback and performance metrics.

  • Market & Competitive Intelligence: Act as the subject matter expert on target buyers, industry trends, and competitive dynamics. Translate market and competitive insights into actionable marketing strategies.

  • Content Collaboration: Collaborate with ABX and regional marketing teams to create engaging assets (e.g., white papers, webinars, case studies, and solution briefs) that drive pipeline growth, enhance thought leadership, and support customer acquisition and retention.

  • Performance Measurement: Analyze KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of product launches and marketing initiatives. Implement a continuous improvement process, sharing insights and recommendations with stakeholders to maximize ROI.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related field

  • 3-5 years of experience in B2B product marketing, ideally within energy, renewables, or industrial technology sectors.

  • Proven success launching and managing B2B products across their lifecycle, from ideation to commercialization and post-launch optimization.

  • Exceptional communication, storytelling, and presentation skills, with demonstrated ability to distill complex technical concepts into compelling, customer-centric value propositions.

  • Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, experienced in leveraging market research, customer insights, and performance metrics to inform strategy and decision-making.

  • Ability to lead through influence, drive cross-functional collaboration, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Experience with modern marketing tools, CRM platforms, and digital analytics to support campaign execution and measurement.
