The opportunity
The role
Major Responsibilities
- Execute day-to-day Amazon PDP (Product Detail Page) updates and optimizations to improve content accuracy, compliance, and conversion.
- Support Amazon-focused launches, line reviews, and key retail moments (e.g., Prime Day) by helping translate Sales priorities into PDP updates.
- Partner closely with Sales and Account teams to support Amazon account initiatives through timely PDP execution.
- Manage all new item setup in Amazon Vendor Central, ensuring product data is complete, accurate, and submitted on time.
- Perform regular PDP audits on assigned ASINs, including titles, bullets, imagery, A+ content, and implement recommended updates.
- Execute and maintain A+ Content updates in alignment with brand guidelines and Amazon best practices.
- Monitor and manage Amazon Andon cords related to PDP content, item setup, or data quality issues, finding root causes and coordinating timely resolution with internal teams.
- Track Andon cord trends and recurring issues, escalating risks and recommending process improvements when appropriate.
- Maintain and manage the Amazon master catalog file, serving as the team's system of record for product data, attributes, and content inputs.
- Update the master catalog file to reflect new items, changes, corrections, and discontinuations.
- Manage assigned PDP tickets and requests, following established workflows, SLAs, and prioritization guidelines.
- Monitor Amazon PDP merchandising capabilities and enrichment options, escalating opportunities or issues to leadership.
- Identify content gaps, errors, or process inefficiencies and raise recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Brand, Creative, Category, and Technology partners to ensure accurate PDP execution.
The requirements
Minimum Education/ Experience
- Bachelor's degree required (BA/BS).
Specific Skills or Experience Required
- 1-2+ years of experience in eCommerce, digital merchandising, Amazon operations, or digital content management (internships or relevant coursework accepted).
- Working knowledge or strong interest in Amazon Vendor Central
- Foundational understanding of Amazon PDP elements, A+ Content, and online merchandising best practices.
- Familiarity with content syndication or product information tools (e.g., Salsify, PIM systems) preferred but not required.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple PDP updates and deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
