Job Description
Our Client, a Health Insurance company, is looking for a Specialist, Talent Acquisition for their Baltimore, MD/Hybrid location.Responsibilities:
- 25% Develops recruitment and communication strategies to enhance the recruiting experience for prospective candidates and hiring managers.
- 15% Coordinates with the implementation of strategies for recruiting diverse talent
- 10% Work closely with hiring managers, building trust and credibility as an advisor in the selection process
- 10% Evaluates recruiting pool to identify future sourcing needs and implements proactive recruiting strategies to
- build candidate pipelines for future vacancies.
- 10% Proactively source and network with potential candidates in the marketplace
- 10% Assist in the organizing and logistics of recruitment and marketing events.
- 10% Represent CareFirst internally and externally at events, job fairs, college recruitment functions with a goal
- of networking/relationship building with potential candidates and community outreach programs in order to
- establish and maintain an organizational presence in the community.
- 5% Ensures recruitment practices are compliant with employment laws.
- 5% Assist Talent Acquisition Leadership with development and implementation of specific projects.
- Bachelor's Degree Education Details: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or equivalent work experience
- Experience:
- 3 years Full life-cycle HR/Agency recruitment experience in a high volume environment supporting mid to senior level roles.
- Experience with LinkedIn and LinkedIn Recruiter
- Exceptional problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills
- Experience in proactively sourcing qualified candidates
- In lieu of education
- In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.
- Preferred qualifications
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) (e.g., ADP, Taleo, Greenhouse)., Proficient
- Ability to navigate on social media to source for qualified candidates, Proficient
- Willingness and passion for sourcing, networking, and attracting candidates from various channels., Proficient
- Experience in developing creative approaches to attract diverse candidates, Proficient
- Ability to influence others and build strong internal relationships, Proficient
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications., Proficient
- Ability to speak on behalf of the organization and represent the business., Proficient
- The incumbent is required to immediately disclose any debarment, exclusion, or other event that makes them ineligible to perform work directly or indirectly on Client care programs.
- Must be able to effectively work in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities, deadlines, and workloads that can be variable for long periods of time.
- Must be able to meet established deadlines and handle multiple customer service demands from internal and external customers, within set expectations for service excellence.
- Must be able to effectively communicate and provide positive customer service to every internal and external customer, including customers who may be demanding or otherwise challenging.
- Licenses/certifications
- Human Resources\PHR or SHRM-CP Pref
- Top 5 required skills:
- Experience recruiting within a healthcare, health insurance, managed care, or hospital environment.
- Demonstrated full-cycle recruiting experience, including intake meetings, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer negotiation, and closing candidates.
- Strong sourcing experience utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing platforms to identify passive talent.
- Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to manage candidate pipelines and ensure accurate recruiting documentation.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to partner effectively with hiring managers, HR Business Partners, and candidates while managing multiple competing priorities.
