Job Description

Summary Statement:* The Team Member Relations, Specialist will assist with key human resources functions such as Team Member relations, accommodations, and providing support and guidance to Team Members and managers on HR-related matters while ensuing compliance with labor laws.

Primary Job Duties: Includes but is not limited to:         

  • Assist with general Human Resources projects, tasks and assignments.
  • Handle Team Member documents, maintain files and electronic records.
  • Address Team Member inquiries.
  • Manage accommodation process.
  • Process unemployment claims.
  • Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
  • Work with HR, legal, and other departments.
  • Use personal device/cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc.
  • Perform other job-related duties as requested.

Qualifications: Includes but is not limited to:

  • Working knowledge of Human Resources Information System (HRIS), and other similar computer applications.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Applications (ex. outlook, excel, word & power point, etc..)
  • Polished appearance and demeanor.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred:

  • Experience working in Human Resources.
  • Fluent in more than one language.
  • Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting.

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • At least 6 months of customer service experience in a similar or related field.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Certificates, Licenses, Regulations:

  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.

  • Work is typically performed in an office environment.
  • Must be tolerant of varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination, and air quality.
  • Prolonged sitting/standing.
  • Bending and reaching.
  • Transporting, pushing, pulling, lifting, and maneuvering items weighing up to 10 lbs.
  • Eye/hand coordination.
  • Ability to comply with Policies and Procedures, Job Description, daily memorandums, chemical labels (SDS) and other instructions.
