- Review product orders to ensure mixtures can be produced safely and effectively.
- Adjust product recipes as needed.
- Assist in maintaining inventory of raw material and base mixed product for use in the production of specialty gases.
- Fill high-pressure pure and mixed gases.
- Use gas chromatography and process gas analyzers to certify gas mixtures.
- Operate manual and automatic instruments and equipment.
- Comply with local, state and federal regulations (OSHA, EPA, FDA, DOT, etc.).
- Comply with Compressed Gas Association guidelines.
- Comply with company quality management system policies regarding ISO 17025 and ISO 17034 standards.
- Prepare product for shipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair production and/or analytical equipment as necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- 4 year college degree or similar work experience preferred.
- Familiarity with gas chromatography and process gas analyzers.
- 1–3 years of Industrial/Specialty Gas experience preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and math (algebra) skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Ability to handle high-pressure steel and aluminum cylinders with approved equipment.
- Must be able to process detail-oriented tasks with high reliability.
