Job Details

• * Enter Prescription Information
• * Contact prescribers to clarify orders
• * Determine accurate medication quantities
• * Select proper medication strength and vial size to reduce waste
• * Select and dispense accurate medications
• * Correctly label medications
• * Handle hazardous and non-hazardous oral, topical, and parenteral medications
• * Prepare medications for delivery
• * Organize and maintain medication and supply inventories
• * Perform inventory control duties, including ordering, receiving, stocking, exchanging, and returning medications and supplies
• * Ensure medications are appropriately stored
• * Resolve insurance issues
• * Assist with Prior Authorizations
• * Aid patients with financial assistance programs
• * Responsible for appropriate EMR documentation and communication with staff
• * Follow Federal, State, and local laws and regulations
