Travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - 13-Week Contract | Glendive, MontanaUp to $3,150 Weekly Compensation Based on Experience

Connected Health Care, a leading healthcare recruitment and staffing firm, is partnering with a respected healthcare provider in Glendive, Montana, to hire an experienced and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a 13-week travel assignment. Speech-Language Pathologist Job Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders*
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals*
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and document findings accurately*
  • Provide therapy services to improve communication, cognition, speech production, and swallowing function*
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding treatment plans, home exercises, and compensatory strategies*
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, rehabilitation professionals, and interdisciplinary team members*
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate*
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements*
  • Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and facility regulations*
  • Promote patient safety and quality care throughout the rehabilitation process

Education & Certification Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program*
  • Current Montana Speech-Language Pathologist License or eligibility to obtain licensure prior to start date*
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred*
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred*
  • Strong communication, clinical assessment, and patient care skills*
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Experience Requirements

  • Previous Speech-Language Pathology experience preferred*
  • Experience in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF), Long-Term Care (LTC), and small rural healthcare facilities is a significant plus*
  • Experience treating geriatric, neurological, cognitive, and dysphagia patient populations preferred*
  • Previous rehabilitation, post-acute care, or skilled nursing experience highly desirable*
  • Knowledge of swallowing evaluations, cognitive assessments, and speech-language treatment interventions preferred
