The selected candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive speech and language services to students in a school setting, while also consulting with teachers, administrators, and parents to implement strategies that promote speech and language development. This role requires a strong commitment to enhancing the lives of students, a high level of expertise in speech-language pathology, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.Responsibilities:1. Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to determine students' needs and develop individualized treatment plans.2. Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in individual and group settings.3. Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to provide strategies and resources that promote speech and language development.4. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with speech and language impairments.5. Monitor students' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of students' progress, treatment plans, and consultations.7. Provide training and professional development to school staff on topics related to speech and language development.8. Stay informed of the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology and incorporate this knowledge into practice.9. Adhere to all federal, state, and school policies and regulations related to speech-language pathology services.Qualifications:1. A valid SC SLP license and educator certificate.2. A minimum of 1 years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist, preferably in a school setting.3. Exceptional knowledge of speech and language development and disorders.4. Experience with various assessment tools and techniques for diagnosing speech and language impairments.5. Proficiency in developing and implementing effective treatment plans.6 Strong consultation and collaboration skills.7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.8.
