Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – $50–$60/hr + Guaranteed Pay | $10K Sign On Bonus | School-Based | Bangor, ME
Boothby Therapy Services is hiring full-time Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) for school-based positions in Bangor, Maine for the 2026–2027 school year. We have available opportunities serving students at the PK, elementary, middle, or high school levels depending on applicant caseload preferences.
We welcome both experienced SLPs and Clinical Fellows (CF-SLP / CFY) who are passionate about pediatric and school-based speech therapy.

- Pay Rate:$50–$60/hour (guaranteed pay for scheduled time, even if student sessions are missed)
- Setting: Public school (Preschool + Elementary + Middle School + High School)
- School Year: 2026–2027

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Responsibilities
- Provide school-based speech-language therapy services to preschool, elementary, middle, or high school students
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and services
- Deliver direct therapy services (individual and small group sessions)
- Support students with:
- Articulation and phonology
- Receptive and expressive language
- Social/pragmatic communication
- Fluency and voice disorders
- Adapt therapy approaches for different age groups and developmental levels
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, occupational therapists (OTs), and physical therapists (PTs)
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and compliance records
- Communicate regularly with families and caregivers
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- CCC-SLPor eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CF-SLP)
- Active Maine SLP license (or eligibility)
- Experience or interest in pediatrics, school-based therapy, or special education preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
