TransPerfect Health is seeking an SLP who can work either two full days during the week or a few hours daily between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. The position is located at Holbrook Decatur-an upscale retirement community offering assisted living, independent living, and memory care-at 1882 Clairmont Road, Decatur, GA 30033, in the North Druid Hills area.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, assessments, and treatments in accordance with state practice acts, plan of care, and company policies
• Help optimize functional independence, and quality of life for members of the aging population
• Accurately complete all required documentation in a timely manner
• Participate in required orientations, staff meetings, and in-service education
• In collaboration with the Director of Rehabilitation, develop robust therapy program
• Follow all infection control procedures and OBRA Resident Rights Guidelines
• Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and effectively prioritize patient care
• Support compliance with all state and federal regulations
• Perform duties that may involve moderate to heavy physical demands
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

• Current or eligible Speech Therapy license in the state of practice
• Graduate of an accredited speech therapy program
• ASHA accreditation or equivalent
