Connected Health Care, a premier recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking a motivated Local Travel Speech Therapist (SLP) for an exciting 13-week contract with one of our trusted healthcare partners in Grand Forks, North Dakota. This opportunity offers weekly compensation of up to $2,550, based on experience, while allowing you to make a meaningful impact on patients in a collaborative clinical environment.

Job Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders*
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical goals*
- Implement evidence-based speech therapy interventions to improve communication and swallowing function*
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate*
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques and home exercise programs*
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals*
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress*
- Ensure compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and professional practice standards*
- Promote patient safety while delivering compassionate, high-quality care
Education & Certification Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program*
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in the State of North Dakota or eligibility to obtain licensure prior to start*
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred or required based on facility requirements*
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred*
- Previous clinical experience in an acute care, outpatient, inpatient rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or home health setting preferred*
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of Speech-Language Pathology experience preferred*
- Experience evaluating and treating adult and/or pediatric patient populations*
- Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary healthcare team*
- Excellent clinical judgment, documentation, and time management skills*
- Passion for helping patients improve communication and quality of life
