Job Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders*
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical goals*
• Implement evidence-based speech therapy interventions to improve communication and swallowing function*
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate*
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques and home exercise programs*
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals*
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress*
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and professional practice standards*
• Promote patient safety while delivering compassionate, high-quality care

Education & Certification Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program*
• Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in the State of North Dakota or eligibility to obtain licensure prior to start*
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred or required based on facility requirements*
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred*
• Previous clinical experience in an acute care, outpatient, inpatient rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or home health setting preferred*
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of Speech-Language Pathology experience preferred*
• Experience evaluating and treating adult and/or pediatric patient populations*
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary healthcare team*
• Excellent clinical judgment, documentation, and time management skills*
• Passion for helping patients improve communication and quality of life
