Job Opportunity: Travel Speech Therapist near Rapid City, South Dakota Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech Therapist looking for your next travel adventure? - Title: Travel Speech Therapist*
- Location: Near Rapid City, South Dakota*
- Shift: Day shift (5 8-hour shifts per week)*
- Start Date: As soon as possible
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients.*
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to help patients regain and enhance their communication and swallowing abilities.*
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.*
- Educate patients and families on strategies to improve communication and quality of life.*
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with facility and regulatory standards.
- Education: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.*
- Licensure: Active Speech Therapist license in the state of South Dakota or eligibility to obtain one.*
- Certifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.*
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).*
- Additional certifications relevant to SNF care are a plus.
