Rate of pay: $15.00. Final compensation is based on factors such as skills, qualifications, and experience.
Essential Responsibilities:
Lead youth sports classes, teaching basic skills and techniques in various sports (e.g., soccer, basketball, baseball).
Demonstrate proper techniques and provide constructive feedback.
Ensure that each child participates actively and develops a love for physical activity.
Monitor the safety of all participants during practices, games, and activities.
Ensure that sports equipment is properly maintained and safe for use.
Enforce safety rules and ensure children follow instructions.
Minimum Requirements:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to serve a diverse community.
Previous experience in coaching, teaching, or working with children in a recreational or sports setting (1-2 years preferred).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Multi-lingual skills
- Additional qualifications specific to each program (such as certifications or degrees in dance, sports, or education)
