Job Description

Take charge of evaluating aerospace parts, ensuring they align with rigorous blueprint standards and client specifications. This pivotal role involves meticulous documentation of component dimensions to maintain our high-quality standards. Available for either the first or second shift, with a premium pay rate applicable to the latter.

Key Responsibilities: - Conduct comprehensive assessments, including initial component checks. - Accurately log and analyze measurements as specified by process instructions, inspection documentation, and blueprints. - Validate process certifications while performing both visual and dimensional analysis. - Utilize and master a range of measuring tools like micrometers, calipers, and gauges necessary for precise inspections. - Collaborate effectively to address and resolve customer feedback. - Partner with internal departments to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently. - Exhibit strong independent judgment and teamwork capabilities.

Qualifications: - Associate's degree in a relevant engineering or technical field, or equivalent professional experience. - At least five years of experience in a similar capacity. - Direct experience with prominent aerospace clients such as GE Aviation, Raytheon Technologies, and Pratt & Whitney is essential. - Proficient in interpreting First Article Inspection (FAI) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) reports. - Acquaintance with major industry portals, including GE and Raytheon Technologies, and adherence to Flight Safety protocols and procedures. - Advanced IT skills related to inspection, digital gauging, and quality control systems. - Awareness of export compliance, particularly DFAR and ITAR regulations. - Competence to work with precision equipment such as microscopes and loupes. - Familiarity with IPC standards, especially IPC 610/J-STD and preferably IPC 620.
