Role Summary

The Investor Accounting Senior Analyst is an intermediate-level position within the Investor Accounting group. The Senior Analyst performs preparation and review activities, supports client deliverables, and provides guidance to junior analysts while operating with limited supervision. The role supports the Investor Accounting team at a global hedge fund administrator and provides exposure to hedge fund and private equity accounting, investor allocations, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review monthly and quarterly investor allocations for hedge fund and private equity vehicles
  • Calculate and review management fees, incentive fees, and performance allocations in accordance with governing documents
  • Support fund onboardings, including system setup, share class configuration, and testing
  • Serve as a subject-matter resource for Analysts, providing guidance, training, and preliminary reviews
  • Assist with client queries by researching issues and drafting responses for senior team members
  • Support year-end financial reporting, audits, and regulatory deliverables
  • Identify and implement process improvements and efficiency opportunities within Investor Accounting workflows

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in fund administration, investor accounting, or asset management accounting
  • Proficient Excel and Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while meeting tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Interest in pursuing CPA or other professional certifications
  • Experience with investor allocations, management fee, and incentive fee calculations
