Job Description

Contract Type: W2/C2C

Location: Fremont, CA (onsite)

Duration: 6+ months

Pay Range: $40 - $45 per hour on W2 or C2C

Job Summary: Team is looking for a Senior QA Engineer (SDET) to create and maintain advanced automation frameworks that support manufacturing and supply chain applications using AI-based tools. This role involves developing automated test frameworks, integrating AI tools for test optimization, and working closely with development teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage. The ideal candidate is a proactive, adaptable engineer with a passion for enhancing quality and efficiency through intelligent automation.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for factory and inventory management applications.
Integrate AI-assisted tools for optimized test generation and maintenance.
Ensure test coverage across front-end, back-end, and database layers through collaboration with developers and product teams.
Perform functional, regression, and integration testing, troubleshooting issues across multiple systems.
Contribute to CI/CD processes and leverage automation metrics to enhance test efficiency.

Must-Have Skills:

Strong expertise in Java or Python with an understanding of OOP principles.
Experience with UI test automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Selenium).
Familiarity with AI tools or agents for testing purposes.

Industry Experience Required:

Previous experience in supply chain or factory software domains is beneficial, aligning with Client's focus on manufacturing innovation.
