Job Description
BIICS, Inc is looking to fill a Sr.Business Analyst position. The position is located in Tallahassee, Florida, andcandidates must live in Florida and be available to work in Tallahassee,Florida if required. Consultants are required to be off the week of Christmasand New Year unless services are required with prior approval from divisionleadership.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate requirements gathering sessions andstakeholder workshops.
- Analyze business processes and identifyopportunities for automation, modernization, and efficiency improvements.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders,developers, architects, testers, and project managers to define solutionrequirements.
- Translate business needs into actionablerequirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Maintain and prioritize requirements artifactswithin Azure DevOps.
- Support planning activities, including backlogrefinement, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Coordinate requirements reviews, walkthroughs,and approvals with stakeholders.
- Identify and document impacts to businessprocesses, data, integrations, security, and reporting requirements.
- Support development teams by clarifyingrequirements and resolving functional questions.
- Assist testing teams with requirementsvalidation, defect triage, and User Acceptance Testing activities.
- Support cloud modernization initiatives andAzure hosted application enhancements.
- Work with technical teams to documentintegration requirements, API dependencies, authentication requirements, anddata exchange processes.
- Support production deployments, implementationplanning, and post release validation activities.
- Ensure requirements and solutions align withagency governance, security, accessibility, and compliance standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science or Arts degree.
- Minimum 7 years of experience as a BusinessAnalyst supporting enterprise application development, modernization, ordigital transformation initiatives.
- Minimum 7 years of experience producingtechnical documentation related to requirements, specifications, traceabilitymatrices, designs, or testing.
- Minimum 7 years of experience utilizing AzureDevOps or a comparable Application Lifecycle Management platform for backlogmanagement, requirements management, sprint planning, and release tracking.
- Minimum 7 years of experience testing custom oroff the shelf applications, reports, large data sets, or dashboards.
- Minimum 7 years of conducting business processanalysis, gap analysis, workflow modeling, and future state solution design.
- Minimum 3 years of experience developing userstories, acceptance criteria, process flows, use cases, and requirementstraceability matrices.
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with VisualStudio .NET.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio,Project, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills,including experience facilitating stakeholder meetings, workshops, andrequirements sessions.
- Demonstrated experience with large scaleimplementation projects that are high profile, include multiple technologiesand functions, and collaborated with multiple stakeholder groups with diverseand competing needs and expectations.
- Experience supporting public sector, earlyeducation, workforce, or human services systems.
- Experience supporting modernization initiativesinvolving migration from legacy applications to Azure hosted solutions.
