You will work to create reliable, scalable, and sustainable power solutions that support the critical needs of data center operations.

Role & Responsibility

Fuel Cell Integration into Microgrids:

Design and integrate fuel cell systems into microgrid architectures, ensuring seamless operation as a primary or backup power source within data center environments. Optimize fuel cell performance, efficiency, and scalability for high-demand applications Including integration of fuel cell-based microgrids with the existing electrical grid. Ensure proper synchronization, seamless transfer between grid-connected and islanded modes, and effective load management for data center operations.

Fuel Cell/Electrolyzer Requirements Definition:

Propose and support changes to the Fuel Cell /Electrolyzer Electrical systems and onsite equipment integration. Make sure the Fuel Cell /Electrolyzer electrical system maintains required certifications as well as understanding of grid protection functions.

  • Proficient in writing, maintaining and mitigating risk to product requirements.
  • Perform DFMEA/PFMEA
  • Perform System level trade studies
  • Create 1 line and 3-line electrical schematics
  • Create sequence of operation / product operation manuals
  • Perform design verification testing
  • Create presentations for management
  • Electrical harness design and updates
  • Safety System design and certification

Microgrid System Design & Optimization:

Work with Customers and Suppliers to develop and implement site specific microgrid systems that combine fuel cells, energy storage (e.g., batteries/super caps), renewable energy sources (e.g., solar), and conventional generators for data centers. Focus on reliability, redundancy, and optimal energy management. Proven experience with providing technical support and delivering complex energy solutions while identifying opportunities to bring additional value to the customer.

Role & Responsibility - continued

Power Electronics & Control Systems:
