Overview:
Drodex is looking for a Sr. Management Analyst (Event Coordination) in support of a high op-tempo, high visibility, and high-impact office within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). This consultant needs to have project management, writing, copyediting, and communications-related experience on behalf of an executive agency. The Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR) is a public health preparedness and emergency response organization in the Office of the Secretary within HHS. ASPR was created under the Pandemic and All Hazards Preparedness Act in the wake of Hurricane Katrina to lead the nation in preventing, preparing for, and responding to the adverse health effects of public health emergencies and disasters. The Immediate Office (IO) is the executive leadership program office within ASPR.
Responsibilities:
- Supports the coordination and execution of all virtual and on-site engagements for ASPR immediate office and program offices as needed, including post-event analysis: including high profile meetings between ASPR leadership and key stakeholders, listening sessions, events with field organizations, internal and external business meetings, receptions, workshops, conferences, and ceremonies.
- Plans, oversees, executes, and facilitates all logistical aspects of virtual and on-site engagements from concept through execution; ensuring all timelines are met.
- Provides support across the organization in the development and design of event logistics, execution requirements, and leadership briefing materials.
- Supports the coordination of personnel, commercial vendors, and contractors required to execute virtual and on-site engagements.
- Supports the development of all required documentation for organizational participation in local, state, Federal/national and international conferences.
- Supports development and execution of strategic plans to publicize ASPR engagements and target appropriate audiences for participation and information amplification.
- Leads management of bi-directional communication with ASPR stakeholders regarding current activities and engagement opportunities
Qualifications:
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Administration, Business Administration, Event Management, Public Health, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
Required Experience:
- 4–6 years of related experience in event coordination, stakeholder engagement, executive operations, communications, or program support.
- Experience supporting virtual and in-person executive-level meetings, conferences, workshops, or stakeholder engagements.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating logistics, vendors, briefing materials, and stakeholder communications.
Required Clearance
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Tier 2 Public Trust Clearance.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience supporting federal agencies, HHS, ASPR, or other executive offices
- Strong project coordination and timeline management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability and flexibility to work in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment
- Experience supporting high-profile leadership events, stakeholder engagements, and conference participation
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities
