Job Description

Eram Talent, a division of ERAM Group, is looking for a Senior Safety Engineer - PMC to join our team in Saudi Arabia within the Oil & Energy sector. This role involves taking a leadership position in managing safety protocols and ensuring compliance with safety standards on all projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in safety engineering and a keen understanding of project management consultancy.

As a part of our independent Talent Acquisition Consultancy, you will play a crucial role in enhancing safety measures while working collaboratively with various teams to ensure the well-being of all personnel.

Responsibilities

Lead the development and implementation of safety management systems and programs.
Conduct comprehensive safety audits and risk assessments on various projects.
Oversee incident investigations, analyzing data to improve safety performance.
Provide expert advice on safety regulations and best practices to project management teams.
Prepare and deliver safety training sessions for employees and contractors.
Monitor and report on safety performance metrics, suggesting improvements where necessary.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with local and international safety standards.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Safety Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 15 years of experience in safety engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior role within PMC.
Strong knowledge of safety legislation, regulations, and industry standards.
Proven experience in conducting safety audits and risk assessments.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure.
Certifications such as NEBOSH or IOSH are highly desirable.
