This role offers the chance to influence next‑generation transformer solutions while working alongside talented engineers committed to quality, innovation, and safety.

You’ll collaborate across functions to develop designs that meet complex customer needs, lead initiatives that enhance product performance, and support critical prototype and testing activities. If you thrive in an environment where ideas become impact, and where your technical expertise supports a stronger, smarter energy grid, this is the place to grow your career.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Collaborate on custom transformer designs with a strong focus on safety and hazard mitigation.
  • Lead the design and development of three‑phase and single‑phase transformers.
  • Analyze designs, systems, and components requiring advanced technical expertise.
  • Support prototype builds, testing, and design updates based on results.
  • Drive continuous improvement in design processes, materials, and manufacturability.
  • Champion technology implementation and Design to Value (DTV) initiatives.
  • Provide technical mentorship and knowledge sharing within the engineering team.
  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline; advanced degree a plus.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in electrical design or product development, ideally in transformer engineering.
  • Ability to work in the U.S. without the need for employer‑sponsored authorization.
  • Experience with 3D CAD tools; PTC Creo proficiency is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Clear, concise communication skills for diverse technical and non‑technical audiences.

  • We’re committed to advancing a sustainable energy future through innovation and collaboration.
  • We invest in people—offering ongoing learning, leadership development, and global career opportunities.
  • You’ll join a culture that values inclusion, safety, and the meaningful impact of every team member.
