Responsible for providing logistical technical assistance to HDT customers for fielded systems. Analyzes, organizes, plans and administers various phases of day-to-day provisioning, spares, or maintenance/repair activities for one or more programs. This position requires significant travel, sometimes internationally and on short notice and in potentially hostile environments.

Essential Duties:

  • Leads initiatives to prepare and deploy on assignments
  • Analyzes, organizes, plans and administers various phases of day-to-day provisioning, spares, or maintenance/repair activities for one or more programs
  • Analyzes contractual documents, technical data, customer usage data, customer maintenance practices, customer operation characteristics, and related reports for assigned contract to determine spares provisioning or maintenance/repair requirements
  • Develops logistics plans in order to enhance distribution of goods and supplies
  • Identifies, prioritizes, and assesses key logistics assets and infrastructures
  • Development of policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure quality and cost control
  • Contributes to and drives compliance with engineering playbook and best practice procedures
  • Conducts distribution and network studies, monitors inventory and analyzes requirements in order to develop strategies to achieve desired delivery times
  • Provides work leadership and mentoring for lower level employees as required
  • Adheres to all quality and safety standards
  • Supports Integrated product Support team with subject matter experts to accommodate development of technical publications
  • Able to travel to customer locations with very little notice
  • Supports, communicates, reinforces and defends the mission, values and culture of the organization
  • Supports other projects and performs duties as assigned

Education/Experience/Other Skills & Abilities:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Five (5) years minimum experience with ILS in US military preferred
  • Ten (10) to fifteen (15) years in service of Field Service Representative preferred
  • Capable of technical writing and illustrating as required
  • Ability to operate shop/laboratory equipment
  • Familiar with Solidworks, SAP and Salesforce is desired
  • Possesses strong computer skills (e.g., SAP, EPDM, CAD, Microsoft Office)
