Technical Account Manager – Digital & Web Experience

We’re seeking a Technical Account Manager (TAM) to serve as the day-to-day strategic partner for our enterprise web development and creative clients. This role sits at the intersection of client strategy, technical delivery, and account growth; owning relationships, guiding execution, and ensuring measurable business impact.

As a TAM, you will lead client engagements from planning through delivery, translating business objectives into actionable roadmaps while partnering closely with engineering, design, and strategy teams. You will be responsible for driving outcomes across complex web initiatives, maintaining delivery health, and identifying opportunities to expand client partnerships.

This is a client-facing consultant role requiring strong communication skills, technical fluency, and a structured, problem-solving mindset.

Essential Functions

  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for enterprise clients across web development and creative engagements

  • Own client strategy, delivery oversight, and relationship health, ensuring alignment to business goals and KPIs

  • Translate client needs into clear roadmaps, requirements, and technical direction, partnering with cross-functional teams to execute

  • Support  end-to-end delivery, including timelines, scope, and quality, particularly on engagements without dedicated project management support

  • Proactively manage risks, escalations, and dependencies, ensuring issues are addressed quickly and effectively

  • Identify and pursue account growth opportunities, including upsells and expanded scopes of work

  • Partner with web development  and technical teams to ensure solutions are feasible, scalable, and aligned to best practices

  • Act as a technical translator, bridging business stakeholders and development teams with clarity and precision

  • Lead key client engagements including status calls, planning sessions, and delivery reviews

  • Maintain a deep understanding of each client’s business model, digital ecosystem, and success metrics

  • Bring a structured, systems-oriented approach to problem solving, breaking down complex challenges into actionable solutions

AI Enablement & Workflow Optimization

  • Leverage AI-assisted tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, etc.) to accelerate workflows, including requirements gathering, ticket creation, documentation, and synthesis of complex information

  • Use AI to quickly ramp on unfamiliar technical concepts, enabling more effective collaboration with engineering teams

  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and speed through AI-assisted processes

  • Apply sound judgment in balancing AI-assisted outputs with critical thinking and domain expertise

Required Qualifications

  • 5–8+ years of experience in account management, client services, or digital delivery within an agency, SaaS, or consulting environment

  • Demonstrated experience managing enterprise-level web development engagements, including complex builds and integrations

  • Strong understanding of the web development lifecycle (UX/UI, development, QA, deployment)

  • Technical fluency with modern web ecosystems, including:

    • CMS platforms (Webflow, WordPress, headless CMS such as Contentful)

    • Front-end frameworks and API-driven architectures (high-level understanding)

    • Analytics, CRM, and marketing technology stacks

  • Proven ability to own client relationships, manage expectations, and navigate complex stakeholder environments

  • Experience driving delivery outcomes, including managing scope, timelines, and cross-functional teams

  • Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills

  • Experience identifying and supporting account growth opportunities
