• As the Sr. Content Designer at Illumio, you’ll have the opportunity to shape the future of the Content team. We’re a small but mighty team of five content creators and strategists whose mission is to deliver the right content to the right audience at the right time. We’re risk takers, eager to embrace innovation so that we can deliver purposeful visual content journeys that will wow our customers and keep them coming back for more.

• Leveraging your experience with generative AI, you will help lead the content design journey for the team and build an asset library of graphics, visual workflows, learning maps, and more. As an expert in content design, you will influence the team's content transformation agenda.

• Demonstrate thought leadership through visual storytelling efforts by designing infographics, how-to-workflows, learning journeys, and more with clarity and impact.

• Unleash your creative skills to design and deliver high-quality visual content including onboarding journey paths, learning maps, and more tailored to a cybersecurity audience.

• As part of your content design plan, conduct quarterly design audits to identify content gaps and optimize visual communication strategies.

• Use design elements like color, imagery, shape, space, texture, and type to create infographics for diverse user personas, depicting their journey from onboarding, to adoption, to self-service, and troubleshooting.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, UX, and other teams to align visual content with product goals and user needs.

• Champion a “less is more” approach, ensuring visuals are easy to consume.

• Develop audience-specific content design strategies, adapting visual formats based on user behavior, technical proficiency, and learning preferences.

Your Toolkit:

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design

• This role supports FedRAMP‑related responsibilities and therefore must be filled by a U.S. citizen, as required by federal government security standards.

• 7+ years of experience in content design and content strategy (for example, in-product app guidance, info graphics) in an enterprise software or security company.

• Excellent design skills to create polished and professional designs that pop.

• Use AI effectively to build information graphics quickly and effectively.

• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and project management skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing, agile environment.

• An expert at context shifting, able to juggle multiple projects at one time.

• Portfolio samples required

Bouns Points:

• Advanced user of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or other graphics tools.

• Advanced user of Camtasia or other video editing tools.

• Proficient using Atlassian (Confluence, JIRA).

• Familiar building content in an agile environment.
