We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Sr. Electrical Estimator to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a respected and growing company in the commercial construction industry. You will play a critical role in the pre-construction phase of our projects, working closely with the project management team to ensure that all electrical systems are accurately estimated and budgeted. With your ability to manage multiple projects, you will be instrumental in driving the success of our business.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Sr. Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for:

1. Preparing detailed and accurate electrical estimates for our commercial and design build projects.
2. Reviewing and interpreting electrical plans and specifications to develop comprehensive understanding of the project.
3. Evaluating subcontractor bids and performing cost analysis to ensure value-engineered solutions are identified and implemented.
4. Utilizing your expertise in Accubid and Excel to manage and track project costs.
5. Collaborating with the project management team to ensure that all project specifications are met within the estimated budget.
6. Monitoring and adjusting estimates and budgets as project requirements change.
7. Providing technical expertise and support to the project management team, ensuring that all electrical systems are designed and installed in accordance with project specifications and best practices.
8. Participating in client meetings and presentations, providing expert advice and guidance on electrical systems and cost estimates.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Sr. Electrical Estimator position will have:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical estimating in the commercial construction industry.
2. Demonstrated proficiency in Accubid and Excel.
3. Proven experience managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
4. Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and their cost implications.
5. Experience in subcontractor management and cost analysis.
6. Strong understanding of construction budgeting and cost management principles.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
8. High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and quality.
9. A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
