This is a permanent, full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced legal environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to our family law attorneys, including drafting documents, conducting legal research, and managing client files. The candidate must have a strong understanding of family law procedures and court systems, and be able to work independently while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive paralegal support to attorneys in all aspects of family law matters, including divorce, custody, support, and property division.
• Draft, review, and revise legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests and responses, settlement agreements, and pre and post-judgment motions.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on various family law issues.
• Manage and organize client files, ensuring all relevant information and documentation are easily accessible and up-to-date.
• Coordinate and schedule court dates, meetings, and other appointments.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and other parties involved in family law matters.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Assist with trial preparation, including compiling trial notebooks, exhibits, and other trial-related materials.
• Ensure compliance with court rules and procedures in filing and serving legal documents.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal in family law.
• Paralegal certification from an accredited program is a plus
• Excellent administrative and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex legal information to clients and other parties.
• Proficient in legal research and legal document drafting.
• Knowledge of family law procedures and court systems.
• Proficient in the use of legal software and Microsoft Office suite.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
