- * Lead complex financial analyses related to operating performance, forecasting, and long-range financial planning.
- * Evaluate trends, risks, and opportunities, translating findings into actionable insights for senior leadership.
- * Develop executive-level financial summaries, dashboards, and presentations.
- * Lead significant portions of the annual operating and capital budgeting process.
- * Partner with operational leaders to evaluate assumptions related to staffing, productivity, volume, and reimbursement.
- * Identify the financial implications of operational and strategic decisions.
- * Develop advanced financial models and business cases for emerging healthcare service lines and ancillary revenue opportunities, including infusion, specialty services, and procedural expansion.
- * Evaluate reimbursement structures, payer contracts, and net revenue performance across service lines.
- * Perform detailed analyses of reimbursement methodologies and rate assumptions.
- * Analyze staffing models and productivity requirements.
- * Evaluate drug acquisition costs and margin implications.
- * Assess utilization trends, patient volume assumptions, and operational feasibility.
- * Support financial due diligence and operational modeling for specialty pharmacy initiatives and other strategic growth opportunities.
- * Conduct reimbursement sensitivity analyses to assess financial exposure to payer mix and rate variability.
- * Perform payer mix analyses to evaluate revenue impact by site, provider, and service line.
- * Analyze ambulatory surgery center (ASC) and procedural profitability, including contribution margin, case mix, and throughput.
- * Develop and maintain provider productivity benchmarking models incorporating wRVUs, collections, staffing ratios, and compensation structures.
- * Build multi-scenario financial models and perform sensitivity analyses to support capital allocation and strategic decision-making.
- * Partner with senior and executive leadership to provide financial guidance.
- * Serve as the finance lead on cross-functional initiatives.
- * Provide informal mentorship and technical guidance to financial analysts.
- * Ensure financial analyses align with internal controls and applicable regulatory requirements.
- * Identify and implement improvements in financial modeling and reporting processes.
- * Advanced financial modeling and scenario analysis skills.
- * Strong understanding of healthcare reimbursement methodologies and payer dynamics.
- * Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- * Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
- * Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
- * Ability to work independently and effectively in ambiguous or evolving environments.
- * Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- * Six (6) to eight (8)+ years of progressive financial analysis experience.
- * Demonstrated experience with complex financial modeling and pro forma development.
- * Experience supporting infusion, specialty pharmacy, and procedural service lines.
- * Healthcare industry experience.
- * MBA, CPA, or CMA designation preferred.
