Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale commercial construction projects in the Reno, NV area. This role is ideal for a proven leader with deep experience in arena, large hospitality, or complex high-value developments. The Senior Project Manager will oversee all phases of construction, from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Duties & Responsibilities- Lead and manage large-scale commercial construction projects (arenas, resorts, hotels, mixed-use developments) from inception to completion
- Oversee project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution
- Manage and mentor project teams including Project Managers, Engineers, and support staff
- Maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, consultants, and subcontractors
- Ensure compliance with contract requirements, safety standards, and quality expectations
- Drive cost control, forecasting, and financial reporting across multiple projects
- Lead contract negotiations, change order management, and risk mitigation strategies
- Coordinate with field leadership to ensure alignment between office and site operations
- Provide strategic input during preconstruction, including estimating, value engineering, and constructability reviews
- 10+ years of experience in commercial construction project management
- Proven experience managing large-scale projects such as arenas, stadiums, resorts, or major hospitality developments
- Strong background in ground-up construction and complex renovations
- Demonstrated ability to manage multi-million-dollar budgets and large project teams
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam)
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
- Arena or stadium construction
- Large hospitality (hotel/resort/casino) projects
- Multi-phase or occupied-space construction
- Experience working in Nevada or similar regulatory environments
