Sr. Project Manager (Dsa/K-12 Construction)

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage client expectations throughout all phases of the project

• Provide project leadership and supervisory oversight

• Ensure project document control by keeping all documents complete, current, and properly managed

• Manage and prepare cost proposals and change orders

• Develop project budgets and manage buy-out/contracting processes

• Perform project accounting tasks including preparing Owner billings and reviewing/approving Subcontractor progress payments

• Maintain budgets and control costs throughout the project lifecycle

• Manage submittals, RFIs, and all project documentation requirements

• Develop and manage CPM schedules

• Oversee project subcontractors, including coordination, procurement of materials and equipment, budget monitoring, and billing management

• Coordinate with architects, designers, owners, subcontractors, and field personnel

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience in commercial and/or public works construction, managing multiple projects or a single large, complex project

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, construction science, or other industry-related programs preferred

• Strong understanding of current construction methods, materials, and regulations

• Ability to work under pressure and coordinate multiple activities and teams efficiently

• Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and MS Project or other scheduling software

• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving history

• Experience on projects within larger school bond programs (e.g., SDUSD, LAUSD)

• Experience using Procore project management software

• Experience in Higher Education and Healthcare market sectors preferred
