Tittle: Sr. Embedded Software Engineer - C++, Ada, RTOS, DefenseWork location: Onsite in Camarillo, CADuration: 12 monthsTerms: W2 ContractWork authorization: US Citizen; must hold a current/active Secret security clearancePosition Description:
- Develop embedded real-time system software.
- Work in an Agile environment as part of a scrum team.
- Resolve software and system defects.
- Collaborate with our customers, internal sites and disciplines.
- Participate and contribute to peer reviews, critical milestone reviews, and technical inter-change meetings.
- Use project dependent tools including:*
- Rational Clear Case, ClearQuest, DOORS
- Git, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence
- Ada, C/C++, C#, Python
- Green Hills Integrity RTOS, Windows, and Linux
- BS degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) with 5 years of experience; or MS degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) with 3 years of experience.
- Experience with a higher order language such as Ada, C/C++, C#.
- Knowledge of object-oriented software development.
- Ability to function as a member of an integrated team.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g. git, Bitbucket, ClearCase, etc.).
- US Citizenship required.
- DoD Secret Clearance or higher, interim Secret is acceptable.
- Strong verbal communication and customer service skills.
- Strong collaborative mindset.
- Experience working full software life cycle experience on large scale formal DoD program.
- Experience programming with Ada language.
- Experience programming with C++ language.
- Experience with real-time embedded software development.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Electronic Warfare system development and design experience.
