The Sr. Project Manager- Construction- Queens, New York will manage large-scale public works construction projects. This candidate will be a leader within the team and will help sustain $150M+ in projects won recently; simultaneously will need to be a leader and help guide the general contractor into getting more heavily involved in NYCDOT/MTA/NYCHA projects as well. The Sr. Project Manager- Construction- Queens, New York will manage 2-3 large, complex projects.

This candidate will have the ability to manage a portfolio of projects, but also have strong say/voice in what and how the general contractor bids on in the future.

Description

• Manage all aspects of construction projects, including planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are met.
• Monitor on-site activities to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Oversee project documentation, including contracts, permits, and change orders.
• Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates on project progress.
• Identify and mitigate risks to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Lead and mentor project teams to achieve project goals and maintain high performance standards.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant building codes and regulations.
