Job Description
This role owns manufacturing engineering leadership for a technically advanced production environment, spanning process development, machining, and new product introduction. You will partner closely with operations and value stream leaders to scale capability, improve throughput, and ensure manufacturing readiness. Description Lead and develop a multidisciplinary manufacturing engineering team, setting priorities, objectives, and performance expectations
Own manufacturing process design, validation, and optimization across machining, special processes, assembly, and test
Drive productivity, yield, and lead‑time improvements using structured continuous improvement and lean methodologies
Partner with operations, quality, and supply chain to resolve complex manufacturing issues and improve process capability
Support new product introduction by ensuring tooling, processes, capacity, and documentation are production‑readyReview and approve engineering change requests, assessing manufacturability, cost impact, and make‑versus‑buy decisions
Manage departmental budgets, headcount planning, and capital equipment justification and implementation
Ensure compliance with internal standards, customer requirements, and applicable quality and regulatory frameworks Profile Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or a related engineering discipline
Extensive experience in manufacturing engineering, with proven people leadership responsibility
Strong background in machining, tooling, fixtures, process validation, and production support
Demonstrated success driving continuous improvement, cost reduction, and operational performance
Experience working in regulated manufacturing environments with rigorous quality systems
Ability to lead through influence, communicate effectively across functions, and make sound technical decisions
Comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast‑paced, engineering‑driven operation
