Sr. Print Finisher Technician - Onsite - 2Nd/3Rd Shift

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Print Finisher Technician to join our production team. This role is responsible for leading and executing high-quality finishing operations that ensure every project meets customer expectations and company standards. The ideal candidate has extensive bindery and finishing experience, strong technical skills, and a commitment to quality, safety, and efficiency.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

· Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot finishing equipment including cutters, folders, stitchers, binders, and laminators

· Review job tickets and ensure projects are completed accurately, efficiently, and on time

· Perform quality control checks on finished products

· Train and mentor junior finishing technicians

· Monitor finishing supply inventory and coordinate replenishment needs

· Maintain equipment performance through preventative maintenance and basic repairs

· Collaborate with production, design, and press teams to ensure project success

· Promote workplace safety and maintain a safety-first environment

· Support production goals, productivity standards, and customer requirements

· Work overtime and weekends as needed to meet production deadlines

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

· High School Diploma or GED

· 3-5 years of print finishing or bindery experience, preferably in perfect-bound book production

· Strong knowledge of commercial print finishing equipment and processes

· Experience with Horizon BQ470 and Challenger CMT130 is a plus

· Ability to read job tickets, schedules, purchase orders, and production documents

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods

· Basic mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills

· Experience working in a fast-paced production environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

· Experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices

· Experience leading or mentoring team members

· Knowledge of workflow optimization and production efficiency
