Join us!This role will lead the upstream filtration products including ATF and TFDF systems used for bioprocessing applications. Systems will be semiautomatic and fully automatic functionalities including ATF and TFDF controllers/hardware/software and the associated accessories. This role will be responsible for driving and ensuring the long-term success of the upstream hardware business including. He/she will be responsible for understanding the market needs, understanding competition and accordingly drive our ATF and TFDF systems design efforts that are highly competitive and meet/exceed customer needs. This will be a “hands-on” position focused on developing and implementing product strategies to accelerate growth and profitability.  Working externally with the sales team, this position will be responsible for driving the Technology adoption and driving the internal organization to support and expand the product range.  This individual will take a leadership cross-functional role working with at minimum marketing, sales, manufacturing, operations, support, applications, and product development. Key metrics include; revenue growth, new application penetration, profitability, new product releases.

Responsibilities

  • Derive strategy and tactics, and manage the product life cycle to ensure YOY business growth and strong customer satisfaction
  • Support the global Sales organization, providing effective product positioning, sales tools, training, competitive analysis and in-field support as needed
  • Analyze and respond to technical questions related to product use and performance, product quality, and service features
  • Create and drive commercial strategy for New Product releases
  • Derive forecast to ensure accurate demand planning, product build and revenue attainment
  • Be responsible for assessing business performance through KPI tracking
  • Collaborate with sales and engineering to develop new or improve existing products based on VOC
  • Work with Operations and Customer Service to ensure on timely delivery of products and services
  • Drive resolution of customer inquiries and complaints with required internal functions including Quality, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and R&D
  • Develop and recommend appropriate pricing and discounting
  • Assess business performance through KPI tracking
  • Liaise with Marketing to develop effective product collateral and campaigns

Qualifications

  • A BS degree or higher in an engineering or science discipline, with MBA is preferred
  • A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in commercial product management, business management or sales and marketing
  • Experience with hardware/equipment and filtration operations in bioprocessing is preferred
  • Customer facing experience and the ability to build mutually beneficial, trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to take initiative, hold team members accountable for deliverables, and obtain support across departments
  • Strategic, tactical and analytical thinking
  • Ability to travel (including global travel), up to 20%
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Visio)

The estimated base salary range for this role, based in the United States of America is $124,600 - 150,000.00. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to an individual's qualifications, location, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, employees are eligible to participate in one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package. We offer a wide range of benefits such as paid time off, health/dental/vision, retirement benefits and flexible spending accounts. All compensation and benefits information will be confirmed in writing at the time of offer.
