Sr. Electrical Engineer

Tallahassee, FL OR Willing to Relocate Salary Range $100,000-$150,000+ Strong Benefits Package wendyc@selectek.net We are hiring for an Electrical Engineer in the Tallahassee, FL area with an industrial design background. Job description: Position will be a combination of project management, electrical engineering, and design. Work with a project team to coordinate the electrical designs with other engineering disciplines as well as client requirements, and direct the work of junior engineers and designers concerning document production. Position will require interface with vendor personnel, the client’s personnel, and with contractors. Provide electrical power system models (utilizing EasyPower Software). Part of the job includes directing the staff to develop instrument loop diagrams, motor schematics, plan drawings, lists/schedules, and other documentation for a variety of projects utilizing CAD Software. Required: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an accredited institution (5-10) years of experience as an electrical engineer Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) (Or ability to obtain with 6 months of hire) with willingness to obtain licensure in additional states as project load requires Hands-on knowledge and design proficiency in electrical standards, codes, and vendor equipment options Strong written and oral communication skills Experience coordinating work within an internal team of electrical engineers and designers, as well as cross-disciplinary coordination Working knowledge of NFPA and NEC Standards Experience in power system design Proficiency in industrial design for grounding, lighting, and cable tray layouts Working knowledge of DCS, PLC systems, and control system networks is a HUGE plus Preferred: EZ Power, ETAP Please submit resume to: wendyc@selectek.net call/text Wendy 678-802-6616
