WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Data Product Strategy & Delivery
- Define and execute the roadmap for data and analytics products aligned to business priorities.
- Translate business needs into structured data solutions, dashboards, and insights.
- Drive adoption, usage, and measurable business value from data products.
- Balance long-term strategy with immediate business priorities.
AI, Machine Learning & Modern Analytics
- Identify and implement opportunities to apply Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning, and Generative AI to enhance analytics, forecasting, and decision support.
- Work with technical teams to embed intelligent insights and automation into data products.
- Promote the use of modern analytics to improve business planning and performance visibility.
Dashboards, Visualization & Data Storytelling
- Lead the design and delivery of clear, intuitive, and decision-focused dashboards.
- Translate complex data into meaningful visual insights for business and leadership.
- Ensure dashboards are reliable, easy to use, and aligned with business metrics.
- Apply best practices in data storytelling and visualization.
Data Understanding & Metric Alignment
- Develop deep understanding of business data and how it supports operations and decision-making.
- Define and standardize business metrics, reporting logic, and data interpretation.
- Ensure consistency and clarity across dashboards and analytics outputs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as a bridge between business, analytics, and technology teams.
- Lead requirement gathering, prioritization, and execution across initiatives.
- Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Data Quality & Continuous Improvement
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability in reporting and analytics.
- Drive improvements in data usability, accessibility, and trust.
- Promote best practices for data and analytics across the organization.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- Demonstrated ability to design and deliver high-quality dashboards and data visualizations that support business decision-making.
- Strong working proficiency in structuring, interpreting, and applying data to solve business problems and drive measurable outcomes.
- Practical experience translating business needs into well-defined data, metrics, and reporting frameworks.
- Proven ability to work closely with technical teams to shape scalable and usable data solutions.
- Solid understanding of how AI, Machine Learning, and Generative AI can enhance analytics, forecasting, and business insights.
- Experience ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and reliability in analytics outputs.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and structured decision-making capability.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly present insights to both business and technical audiences.
- Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive adoption of data products.
Preferred Qualifications
- Retail industry experience with strong understanding of Wholesale, Retail, eCommerce, and Supply Chain operations and data.
- Experience designing decision-focused dashboards used by leadership and operational teams.
- Experience improving data usability, accessibility, and trust across business users.
- Exposure to modern analytics platforms and data ecosystems.
- Experience applying AI-enabled or advanced analytics in a business environment.
- Demonstrated ability to drive adoption, usage, and measurable business impact from data and analytics solutions.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in Data & Analytics, preferably in Business Intelligence and/or Product Management, with a demonstrated track record of delivering scalable, business-impacting data and analytics solutions.
- Ability to work onsite in Hermosa Beach, CA 2 days per week.
The pay range for this role is $120,000 - $150,000/yr USD.
