The Job:
As a Sr. Product Manager, you’ll be part of our product management team working as a hybrid employee. You’ll get to:
- Strategy Development: Develop the DEWALTConTechConnectivity& NetworkStrategywith input fromCategory,ToolsProductManagement andSales teammembers
- Market OpportunityAnalysis: Familiarize with industry trends, assess market opportunities,developconnectedtools & asset deploymentworkflowsacross thedifferentC&I trades,benchmark competitorsand performcompetitive gap analysis
- Product Planning: Build and executetheconnectivity and networkproductroadmap;Partner with Tools Product Managerstodevelopend-user-focused product requirements for connected tools and work closely with engineering teams to ensure technical feasibility and provide guidance on product development
- Cross-Functional Collaborationthrough the Phase GateProcess: Directly support new product development (NPD)and connected product derivative (DMOD)program executionforintegrated TOOL CONNECT+programs
- Customer Engagement &Voice of Customer (VOC): Conduct regularsitevisits tounderstandend-user needsand pain points related toconnectivity;assistSales and CustomerSuccess team membersin resolvingconnectivity relatedissuesin the field
- LeadershipRhythms& Communications: Provide direct input and supportfor leadership rhythmsand presentations, including monthly business reviews (MBR),NPDlaunch readinessreviews,Connectivity & Network strategy read-outs,etc.
The Person:

- Bachelor’s degree inEngineering,Computer Science, or a related field (Master’sdegree preferred)
- Proven experience as a Technical Product Manager or in a similar role, preferably in the IoT or connected devicesspace
- Strong understanding of hardware andembeddedsoftware development processes
- Knowledge of cybersecurity and data privacy considerations for connected devices.
- ExperiencewithMicrosoft365productivity and business applications (Word,Excel, PowerPoint,Power BI, etc.)
- Comforton commercial construction sites andexperienceusing power tools

The base pay range for this position in Maryland is $100,00 - $122,000 per year. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on payment may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
