The Opportunity
We are supporting a leading aerospace engineering firm that specializes in the design of Real-time Embedded Software for high-stakes industries. This is an opportunity to work on state-of-the-art safety-critical systems, specifically within avionics. Core Responsibilities
- Full Lifecycle Development: Execute complete software development, from defining system requirements to final installation
- High-Integrity Coding: Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code for complex functional systems.
- System Integration: Integrate software components into fully functional systems and develop comprehensive verification plans.
- Verification & Testing: Utilize automated systems testing to ensure software functionality and maintain detailed documentation.
- Tool Deployment: Tailor and deploy software tools, processes, and metrics to optimize performance.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- U.S. Person Status: Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws, candidates must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Prior experience in Avionics software development or Flight Controls.
- Strong Knowledge of the DO-178 development standard and prior experience.
- Strong command of Object-Oriented languages such as C++, C#, or Python.
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent development experience.
