Job Description

Senior Litigation Paralegals (Class Action & Employment)

Locations: Los Angeles or North Oakland, CA

Hybrid: 3 Days In-Office / 2 Days Remote

Are you a technical power-user when it comes to complex litigation? Our firm is expanding, and we are seeking two elite Paralegals to join our Class Action Litigation Practice Group. We aren’t just looking for "support"—we are looking for litigation anchors who can navigate federal filings and complex TOAs with their eyes closed.

The Roles

We are filling two positions for candidates with at least 3+ years of direct experience in the Class Action and Employment sectors:

  1. Senior Paralegal: Expert in Class/Collective actions and Wage & Hour claims.

  2. Litigation Specialist: Experience in Consumer, Antitrust, and/or ERISA litigation.

Technical Mastery Required

To thrive in this high-volume environment, you must be an expert in:

  • The "Brief" Essentials: Professional-level mastery of MS Word formatting (line spacing, footers, etc.) and a confident, expert ability to generate Tables of Authorities (TOAs) and Tables of Contents (TOCs).

  • Nationwide E-Filing: Deep experience filing across multiple jurisdictions at the State, Federal, and Appellate levels.

  • Advanced Research: Proficiency in Westlaw and LexisNexis for case law research.

  • Drafting: Ability to prepare notices, letters, discovery shells, and discovery responses. Senior candidates will contribute to initial brief drafts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Trial Support: Provide end-to-end support during the heat of trial.

  • Caseload Management: Proactively manage deadlines and filings for a fast-paced litigation team.

  • Brief Finalization: Act as the final gatekeeper for briefs, ensuring perfect cite-checking and formatting before they hit the docket.

  • Communication: Serve as a proactive, communicative bridge between attorneys and clients.

Qualifications

  • Specific Experience: Minimum of 3 years focused specifically on Class Action or Employment law (this is in addition to your overall paralegal tenure).

  • Location: Must be able to commute to our Los Angeles or North Oakland offices three days per week.

  • Software Skills: Advanced MS Word and litigation support software proficiency.

  • Disposition: You thrive in high-volume settings, remain calm under filing deadlines, and take a proactive approach to team needs.

Why Join Us?

We offer a sophisticated, supportive work environment where your technical expertise is respected and rewarded. You’ll engage in meaningful work that impacts thousands of individuals, all while working alongside some of the top legal minds in California.

Ready to lead the desk? Please submit your resume highlighting your specific experience with TOAs and Class Action litigation.
