Job Description

Job Overview:The Senior Manager, Transformation Program Management Office (PMO) is responsible for driving disciplined execution of strategic initiatives by establishing robust tracking, governance, and accountability mechanisms. This role ensures that transformation efforts are effectively planned, monitored, and delivered with measurable business impact. This position combines hands-on project management with oversight of initiative performance across multiple workstreams. The role requires leading projects from initiation through execution, while partnering with cross-functional leaders to drive accountability, manage risks, and ensure alignment to organizational objectives. A background in Industrial Engineering or a related analytical discipline is preferred to support structured problem-solving and process improvement.Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

Lead tracking, reporting, and governance of transformation initiatives across multiple workstreams, ensuring visibility into progress, risks, and outcomesEstablish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and standardized metrics to monitor initiative performance and value deliveryDrive weekly operating cadence, including status reporting, performance reviews, and executive-level updatesPartner with workstream leads and initiative owners to enforce accountability for milestones, deliverables, and resultsFacilitate issue resolution by identifying risks, escalating concerns, and coordinating mitigation plansIndependently manage high-priority projects from scoping through execution, including planning, resource alignment, and deliveryDevelop detailed project plans, timelines, and success criteria; monitor progress against established milestonesManage interdependencies across initiatives and ensure alignment across cross-functional teamsInfluence stakeholders and drive alignment without direct authority across business functionsSupport development and standardization of tools, templates, and processes within the Program Management Office (PMO)

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Strong project and program management capabilities, including planning, execution, and risk managementAbility to design and implement performance tracking frameworks and dashboardsAnalytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret data and drive actionable insightsKnowledge of process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) and application to business operationsProficiency in data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Microsoft Excel)Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to present to senior leadershipAbility to manage multiple priorities and coordinate across cross-functional teams

Experience/Qualifications:

5-8+ years of relevant experience (Manager) or 8-12+ years (Senior Manager) in program management, consulting, operations, or transformation rolesBachelor's degree in engineering, operations, business, or related field requiredDegree in Industrial Engineering or related discipline preferredDemonstrated experience managing complex, cross-functional initiativesExperience in transformation programs, Program Management Office (PMO) environments, or large-scale change initiatives preferredExperience applying process optimization or continuous improvement approaches to drive operational results preferred

License Requirements/Certifications:

Lean or Six Sigma certification (e.g., Green Belt, Black Belt) preferred

Working Environment/Safety Requirements/Physical Requirements:

Primarily office-based or hybrid work environmentLocation preference: Atlanta, GA preferred; open to remote / hybrid for the right candidate.Regular interaction with cross-functional teams
