Sr. Project Manager

We have a great opportunity for a Sr. Project Manager/Program Manager in New York City to support complex, cross-functional initiatives within an Information Security and enterprise IT environment. This role is best suited for a disciplined, hands-on project leader who is comfortable operating in a regulated, high-stakes environment and working with senior stakeholders. You will be responsible for driving execution, enforcing standards, and ensuring delivery across multiple technology initiatives with real operational impact. Contract Duration: 12+ months (strong possibility of extension)Engagement Type: Contract | HybridWork Location: 4 Irving Place, Manhattan, NYInterview Process: VideoStart: Immediate

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage large-scale IT projects and programs with significant scope and business impact
• Develop, maintain, and track project plans, including milestones, dependencies, risks, and issues
• Facilitate and lead meetings with technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership
• Support and collaborate with the Project Management Office (PMO) within Information Security
• Define and implement project management standards, processes, and tools
• Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure consistent application of PM standards
• Provide guidance and corrective direction when standards are not being met
• Perform operational reviews across IT functional areas
• Collect, analyze, and report project metrics and performance data

This is an hourly position with opportunity for overtime.

Mandatory Qualifications:(Please read carefully. They MUST be shown on your resume)

• Proven experience as a Senior IT Project Manager or Program Manager
• Demonstrated delivery of cross-functional IT initiatives in enterprise environments
• Recent Utilities industry experience (power, energy, or regulated infrastructure)
• Strong background working with Information Security or compliance-driven projects
• Expertise in project planning, risk management, and executive-level reporting
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive accountability
• Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
• Must be able to work hybrid onsite in Manhattan (Local Candidates ONLY)

Nice-to-Have

• Experience working in PMO-led environments
• Familiarity with regulated or government-adjacent organizations
• Work with a firm known for high-performance, accountability, and ownership
