Johnson & Johnson North America Innovative Medicine is hiring for a Senior Director, Alliance Management- New Business and Product Development to be located in Titusville, NJ or Horsham, PA.

The Sr. Director, Alliance Management will lead strategic alliances within the North America Innovative Medicine business. Main responsibilities include providing critical input crafting partnerships and negotiating alliances, leading post-deal strategic objectives, developing, and leading the contractual governance of the alliance, shaping the relationship between partners, and ensuring day-to-day alliance commitments are delivered.
The incumbent will report to the VP and Head of Strategy, Analytics, and Transformation for North America Innovative Medicine while ensuring clear communication lines across the partnership are in place. The incumbent will partner with internal and external stakeholders to anticipate and resolve potential issues that arise. This incumbent will be assigned specific alliances within - but not limited to- Cardiovascular and Oncology therapeutic areas, and will lead partnership integration through all phases of U.S. commercialization
Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Implement Alliance Management programmatic processes and tools appropriate to the scope and needs of the alliance.
Participate as a member of the joint commercial project teams to proactively foster coordination and alignment of all internal and external partners to the goals and objectives of the alliance.
Openly, proactively, and clearly communicate across all lines of the partnership including Senior Leadership.
Require the ability to anticipate and resolve issues and conflicts arising out of conflicting company policies, changing priorities and unpredictable events.
Supervise the progress of the contract obligations and milestones.
Effectively monitor the satisfaction of the partner, and develop strategies to advance business objectives of J&J in line with our partnership construct.
Qualifications
A BS degree is required. An advanced degree (MS, MBA, Ph.D., etc.) in a scientific, technical, or commercial field is preferred.
A minimum of 15 years related experience, experience in pharmaceutical commercialization is required.
Experience in project or program management is preferred. Experience developing and managing timelines, budgets, and similar details on multiple large-scale projects or in a significant line capacity is required.
Experience in managingand working in a team environment is required, with a proven ability to mobilize and align diverse groups across multiple functions and companies to build interdependent partnerships.
An understanding of pharmaceutical commercialization is required.
A broad understanding and personal network of various commercial functions (marketing, market access, commercial operations, sales, analytics, medical affairs, etc.) is required.
Demonstrated strengths in problem solving, negotiation, and decision making will be needed, in addition to experience in working with senior levels within the organization.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills as well as strong communication and listening skills are required.
Ability to manage complexities, think strategically and exercise good judgment is required.
This position requires up to 25% travel (Domestic and International).
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis. The anticipated base pay range for this position is $173,000 to $299,000.

Vacation - up to 120 hours per calendar year

Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays - up to 13 days per calendar year of Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
