Client Details
The organization designs and builds specialized test and control systems for complex rotating equipment and related applications. It operates as a small, technical company where engineering and production are tightly linked, and engineers work directly with customers to deliver tailored solutions.
Description
In this role you will report directly into the Operations Manager and be responsible for:
- Designing and supporting electrical control systems that integrate pumps, fluid systems, sensors, motors, and instrumentation
- Creating and updating wiring diagrams, schematics, and panel layouts for test and control systems
- Programming and configuring PLCs, HMIs, or related control hardware as needed for system operation
- Troubleshooting electrical and control issues on existing systems and resolving problems at the component and system level
- Collaborating with mechanical, controls, and test engineers to define system requirements and deliver complete solutions
- Managing projects from concept through build, test, and customer delivery while balancing scope, schedule, and quality
- Communicating directly with customers to clarify requirements, provide updates, and support system commissioning
- Traveling to customer sites as needed to support installation, startup, and field troubleshooting
Profile
The successful candidate will have:
- 3 to 5 years of experience working with electrical systems in an industrial, aerospace, test, or material handling environment
- Experience working with at least one of the following: pumps or water flow systems, PLCs, sensors, hydraulic or pneumatic systems, motors, or electronic instrumentation
- Experience reading and creating electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Troubleshooting electrical or control systems in a hands on environment
- Experience working in a smaller company or project based environment where engineers wear many hats
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work directly with customers and internal teams
- Willingness and ability to travel to customer sites when required
