Job Description
The Senior Engineering Transformation Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping the global strategy and governance of SmartProductivity within the OMS FC framework. The role is accountable for driving global consistency, influencing cross-functional decision making, and ensuring SmartProd becomes a foundational enabler of operational excellence across regions.
Operating at the intersection of product, operations, and transformation, the Senior Manager provides strategic guidance, ensures business alignment to the global roadmap, and leads to the design of governance models that secure measurable impact on productivity, cost efficiency, and customer outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Shapes and evolves the global SmartProd business concept, ensuring standards, use cases, and training materials reflect best-in-class processes and future business needs.
- Leads strategic assessments to identify global trends, capability gaps, and improvement opportunities, translating them into business requirements and roadmap priorities.
- Partners with IT Product Managers to co-define product strategy, validates feature feasibility, and ensures solutions deliver material business value.
- Defines clear KPIs, business value cases, and success metrics that inform prioritization and steer decision-making at senior forums.
- Orchestrates global deployment strategies, ensuring SmartProd adoption aligns with OMS FC expectations and broader transformation initiatives.
- Develops regional capability through high-impact training, coaching, and leadership engagement, enabling self-sufficiency and consistent execution.
- Facilitates regional alignment, break down barriers, and ensure successful implementation through structured change management and clear stakeholder pathways.
- Monitors deployment performance and regional readiness, providing strategic recommendations for scaling, improvements, or interventions.
- Champions bottom-line impact through SmartProd solutions, ensuring regions understand how to translate tools into real-site performance gains.
- Acts as the strategic business counterpart for regions, ensuring governance, standards, and the product roadmap aligns to operational realities and business priorities.
- Leads cross-functional alignment with IT, OpsEx, HR, Finance, Planning, and other partners to ensure seamless integration and shared accountability for results.
- Influences regional leadership through insight-driven communication, storytelling, and strategic framing of issues and opportunities.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field, required.
- Master's degree (MBA, MSc in Supply Chain/Engineering/Analytics), preferred.
- Certifications such as Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt), PMP, or Agile/Scrum, preferred
- 6-8 years of experience in operations, process engineering, operations excellence, workforce productivity, or supply chain transformation, required.
- Experience working with engineered standards, WMS/LMS/Smart Productivity tools, or workforce management systems, required.
- Demonstrated capability in data analysis, KPI design, and translating insights into operational improvements, preferred.
- Strong track record in change management, training, coaching, and building capability in multicultural environments, preferred.
