Join our team to spearhead project costing initiatives, effectively collaborating with various departments to ensure bids are competitive and thorough. You'll engage in pivotal pre-bid discussions and dive deep into project documents, drawings, and specs to craft precise and reliable estimates. Your role involves gathering and evaluating subcontractor and vendor proposals, as well as leveraging on-screen estimation tools for accurate cost analysis. With a focus on delivering excellence, you'll work cross-functionally, provide insightful post-award support, and contribute to smooth project transitions. An understanding of cost drivers is crucial, as is your ability to present value engineering solutions that enhance both project execution and client satisfaction.

Required skills include over a decade of experience in mechanical estimating, with an emphasis on HVAC, plumbing, and process piping projects. Proficiency in both Design-Build and Plan & Spec delivery methods, along with expertise in estimation software, is essential. Communication prowess and relationship-building abilities with various project stakeholders are also necessary. Preference will be given to candidates with a background in heavy industrial mechanical environments and advanced process piping estimation skills.
